The District will be replacing the water main on Garden View Avenue between SW Scenic Drive and SW Canyon Road starting September 15, 2025.  The active construction in the roadway should be completed by middle October.  Paving the road will take place at the end of October (weather permitting), and the entire project should be completed before the end of November 2025.

This project involves the complete replacement of the water main along SW Garden View Avenue. The work is essential to improve system reliability and long-term water service to the area. This new water main will replace the main that catastrophically ruptured July 2023.  Please see the map below showing project construction area.

Service Interruptions:
During the project, temporary water service interruptions will be necessary.  The interruption of service would be one time for a few hours as water service is switched from the existing water main to the new water main.  All affected customers will receive individual notices in advance of any planned disruptions to their service.

Traffic and Access:
A traffic management plan will be organized by the District’s construction contractor. While access to homes on Garden View will be maintained, through traffic on Garden View will be rerouted to Vista Dr for the duration of the project. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete this construction project with as little disruption as possible.
